I really enjoyed watching Suits and I’m looking forward to the third series of Sex Education to come out on Netflix.

Thanks to my dad I have a massive interest in World War II and history in general. I used to love watching the old World at War documentaries from the 70s with him.

Best thing about your job?

I love working, recruiting and mentoring in the town where I was born. I’m very proud of the area in which we offer our services and the fantastic businesses we are lucky to partner with!

I would consider myself a “runner” but I would never run a marathon again it was horrendous!

JACK VASEYTechnical & Engineering

What led you to this career?

I began my career within Engineering as a manufacturing apprentice at a sheet metalwork factory, from there I transitioned into a design role at a curtain walling company where I had worked for 2 years before making the move into recruitment. I want to utilise my technical knowledge within the sector to be able to provide the best possible service to my candidates and clients.

What’s the weirdest food you’ve ever eaten?

Fried crickets and mealworms which was part of a ‘bush-tucker trial’ I did during a team-building survival trip I attended!

Bali would definitely be my dream destination, everything surrounding the culture, the views and the food looks so amazing!

What’s your proudest achievement?

The one achievement that will stick with me for a long time will be taking part in and winning a boxing event that was held to raise money for Cancer Research. I was never really one to be in the limelight but when you’re stood in the centre of the ring hearing your name chanted, there really is no better feeling.

What’s something you’ve done, but will never do again?

I lived in Kuwait for 6 years and it was the most incredible experience – I would definitely recommend living abroad to anyone. It’s a part of my life that I’m proud of, but I am comfortably settled back home now for the foreseeable.
