Management Accountant (18823)

My client, an established Manufacturing businesses in the North East is seeking a Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in a very varied role.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a hands on Management Accountant role within a fast paced and highly innovative business.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Day to day management of the finance function
• Responsible for purchase ledger, credit control and cash management
• Payroll information for submission
• VAT returns
• Year end statutory accounts

The successful candidate will:

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar level position
• Strong excel skills
• Previous experience in managing a small team
• Hands on approach
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-motivated and has the ability to work under own initiative
• Previous experience within a management accountant position within the manufacturing industry (desirable)
