We are working with a logistic business, supporting their search for a Warehouse Operations Manager, operating their site in Peterlee.
This role will give the successful candidate a chance to truly flourish within a challenging, demanding, but rewarding environment with lots of room to progress along the way.
Job Description
The Warehouse Operations Manager role will require the individual to:
Report to the Director
Manage a team
Manage multiple customer relationships
Oversee all warehouse operations
Responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations
Managing the internal system
Responsible for the inventory management
Full site H&S control
Accountable for people development and performance management within the operation
The successful candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:
A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential
Be Degree educated (or similar) - Advantageous
A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential
Have worked for a 3PL previously - Essential
IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous
Have good written and verbal communication skills ranging from Executive levels to warehouse Operatives
Be results driven and commercially minded
