My client has a vacancy for a Transport Administrator based at their head office in Peterlee to cover maternity leave.
This role will support a busy HO Transport Department and the successful individual will need to be flexible and able to move from different tasks with ease.
All training necessary to the position will be done on site in Peterlee.
- Liaise with drivers (dealing with daily telephone queries)
- Dealing with customer queries
- Product collection planning
- Liaise with suppliers and book as required
- General Transport Admin duties
- Previous experience within a Transport Office preferred
- IT literate
- Excellent administrative skills
- Good time keeping
- Good communication skills
- Confidence when speaking on the phone
