Job Title: Trainee Sales Estimator

Location: Malton

Salary Range: £24,000-£27,000 (depending on experience)

Job information: Full time, permanent

Hours of work: 33 hours per week, Monday - Thursday, 8:30 - 17:15

My client is a leading manufacturing company who are currently seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Estimator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to grow their career in sales estimation and play a key role in the companies continued success.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Calculate quantities from drawings and generate precise quotes/bills of quantities to an agreed deadline.

·       Liaising with the company’s customer base

·       Identifying commercial risks

·       Dealing with customer enquires

·       Assist in project management tasks and take the lead on contractual elements to enhance profitability and ensure accurate costings in line with customer requirements.

·       Interpret information and instructions accurately, executing tasks accordingly.

·       Commitment to providing exceptional support to meet client expectations.



·       Trainee or graduate with office experience

·       Strong numerical aptitude and proficiency with spreadsheets.

·       Ability to multitask, prioritise work, and maintain excellent organisational skills in a busy, fast paced environment.

·       Excellent listening skills and the ability to understand and address client needs.
