Our client based in Darlington is looking for a permanent, full- time Trainee Accounts Clerk to join their finance team in a large legal firm.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Processing incoming/ outgoing client and business account transactions
· Daily Bank Reconciliation
· Issuing outgoing cheques
· Processing outgoing BACS payments
· Assisting with Petty Cash handling and reconciling
· Processing Purchase Ledger invoices and payments
· Assisting with Credit Control duties
· Taking card payments from clients over the phone and processing payments whilst maintaining GDPR standards
· Processing bills
· Dealing with departmental incoming and outgoing post, scanning and filing
Job details/ information:
· Full time Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00
· Salary- £20,000-£22,000 depending on experience
· Hybrid working (after probationary period is passed)
· You will be supporting the Head of Finance to ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering Regulations and VAT Requirements
· Full training will be provided along with the opportunity to complete ILFM Professional Diploma qualification
