The Role
As a Tax Technology & Transformation Manager, you'll lead the delivery of technology-driven initiatives that improve tax processes, enhance client service and support business transformation.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the design and development of innovative tax technology solutions and proof-of-concepts.
Delivering technology and transformation projects from initial concept through to implementation.
Working with tax specialists and wider business teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and data-driven insights.
Translating business requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions.
Supporting the development of new technology-enabled service offerings.
Delivering workshops, demonstrations and training sessions to encourage the adoption of new technologies across the business.
Acting as a trusted adviser on tax technology, providing practical guidance and support to colleagues.
Collaborating with stakeholders across tax, finance, technology and data teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Contributing to the continuous development of internal systems, processes and digital capabilities.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience delivering technology, automation or transformation projects within a tax, finance or professional services environment.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into practical technology solutions.
Experience working with one or more of the following technologies:
Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query)
Microsoft Fabric
Microsoft Dataverse
Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar AI platforms
Alteryx or comparable automation tools
An understanding of data management, automation, analytics and emerging technologies.
Experience with coding or scripting languages such as Python, SQL or DAX would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
