An Accountancy firm in Northallerton are looking to add an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join their team in Northallerton. This is a pure Tax Compliance role.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to financial regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of financial practices, including accounts payable and financial accounting processes.
Analyse financial data using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to identify potential compliance issues.
Collaborate with various departments to provide guidance on compliance-related matters and promote best practices.
Prepare detailed reports on compliance status and present findings to senior management.
Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the financial services industry and advise the organisation accordingly.
Provide training and support to staff on compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Tax compliance role within Practice
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is highly desirable.
Used to a faced paced environment
Highly technical
CTA or ATT qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
