A great opportunity to join a well-established company who are based in Leeming Bar.
My client is currently looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic individual to join the Supply Chain department. To be successful in this role, you will be an all-rounder who has previous experience within Supply Chain that can support the department in several functions such as planning, procurement call offs and buying.
Reporting to the UK Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the placing and maintaining of packaging print runs to ensure the right products and quantities are printed within the relevant lead times at the best price whilst also balancing potential risk.
Duties will include:
- Responsible in supporting the buyer with project administration work including buying better and alternative supply, whilst also given the opportunity to lead on projects.
- Using an ERP system, you will learn and support the procurement call off team where required to ensure all raw materials and packaging are delivered on time to meet production requirements.
- Using a combination of ERP and Excel you will learn and support the planning team to ensure that the right products are planned in the right order based on manufacturing and allergen constraints.
- You will lead departmental projects and provide admin and communication support to deliver these.

You will have;
- Excellent numerical skills
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Enthusiastic, confident, proactive, and a methodical approach
- Keen eye for attention to detail and reliability
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Depending on experience
