Are you a proactive and detail oriented professional with a passion for supply chain management? We are recruiting a Supply Chain Administrator to join our client’s business, based on the outskirts of Thirsk. This an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring products move efficiently from order through to delivery, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and smooth day to day operations.

As the Supply Chain Administrator, you will act as the main point of contact between customers and internal teams, ensuring orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. You will oversee the end to end flow of products and information, balancing supply, demand, and operational capacity, whilst supporting continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full order cycle, from receipt and validation to processing and fulfilment

  • Maintain accurate stock levels 

  • Coordinate with production teams to create effective schedules based on customer demand

  • Arrange outbound shipments and work closely with logistics providers

  • Track deliveries, monitor performance metrics, and report on supply chain activity

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer enquiries and ensure timely resolution

  • Support suppliers in securing timely deliveries and cost effective terms

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs

  • Respond proactively to supply chain disruptions and support contingency planning

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain coordination, customer service, or a related field

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office Suite

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
