Are you passionate about sales and customer service?
I am assisting a client who are based on the outskirts of Northallerton as they are looking for a Sales Representative to join their growing team.
The company, who have been established for over two decades, have grown a flourishing business and are now looking to add to their Sales team.
As the successful candidate, you will ideally have a creative flare and have a passion for maximising sales whilst ensuring that your customers needs are put first. You will work with external partners and internal project managers who will oversee the larger projects.
Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls to a wide variety of end clients and distribute to correct team member accordingly.
Provide greeting and assistance as a first point of contact for visitors
Ensure that all enquiries both new and returning clients are qualified.
Request pricing where applicable and negotiating on best prices.
Managing client expectation, ensuring that you fully understand customer requirements and provide regular updates.
Manage and organise multiple projects at any one time.
Chase deposit payments with client where necessary.
Following order confirmation from clients, produce Purchase Orders and issue to suppliers.
Check supplier order confirmations are in line with what has been initially quoted and update status for the Project Management.
Maintain on-going relationships with existing customers and develop ways to increase customer service and profitability on these accounts.
Work as part of a team towards a team target along with individual KPI contribution.
Aim to beat the monthly sales target each month
Highlight to Business Development Manager leads which would require visit / further business development.
Make sure deal pipeline is up to date and quotations are followed-up with 48hrs initially.
