Purchase Ledger Assistant, £25-28,000, Harrogate

Are you currently working in purchase ledger and looking to join an ever-growing business? Due to continual growth our client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a strong team that are an integral part of the business.

Key Duties:
• Process purchase invoices manually and on an automated system
• Process employee expense claims and credit card statements
• Prepare payment runs
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and review aged creditors reports
• Resolve queries in conjunction with the Purchasing team
• Develop good relationships with key suppliers
• Maintain purchase ledger accounts, posting and allocating payments
• Input to short term cash flow forecasting
• Contribute to implementation of new systems, processes, and controls

Required Skills:
• Previous purchase ledger experience
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organised with experience of working in a high volume, fast-paced role
• Highly motivated, self-starter
• Methodical and accurate with strong attention to detail
• Used to working to tight deadlines
