Purchase Ledger Assistant, £23-25,000, Harrogate

Do you enjoy working in Purchase Ledger and would like to work for a forward-thinking business that are concerned about the environment with how they conduct their business. Would you like to work for one of the market leaders in the beauty industry?
The Purchase Ledger Controller is a key part of this fast-paced Finance team holding key relationships with their suppliers and ensuring that all suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Key Duties:
• Processing of all purchase ledger invoices
• Processing of all employee expense claims
• Administration of central supplier accounts
• Preparation of payment runs
• Posting and allocation of supplier payments
• Assist with new supplier on-boarding
• Preparation of purchase ledger input to short term cash flow forecasting
• Other ad hoc duties as required
• Covering of Sales Ledger Controller on days off/holiday

Skills and experience required:
• Experience of purchase ledger processing
• Attention to detail and the ability to reconcile complex supplier accounts
• Excellent communicator with the ability to develop relationships with both external clients and internal teams
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise, work independently and work under pressure
• Competent IT skills, including Excel
