My client is looking to recruit a Procurement Administrator to join their fast paced and growing team. As the Procurement Administrator you will, assist in the general administration of the office and assist the buying department.

Duties include;

  • Purchase materials and services
  • Filing and maintenance of purchase order register and job file
  • Ensure that Contracts Managers, relevant departments and satellite offices have copies of relevant orders.
  • Actively chase order confirmations, confirm delivery dates and all other details are as purchase order (or current expectations).
  • Confirm material deliveries against purchase orders and assist in approval of purchase invoices and solving invoice correlation queries.
  • Develop partnering relationships with suppliers
  • Arrange meetings with supplier sales representatives and resolve minor disputes where necessary.
  • Close liaison with Drawing Office, Co-ordinator, Contracts Managers, Commercial Department and Office Manager to ensure accurate flow of all relevant information
  • To carry out general office tasks including answering phones and greeting visitor
