We're recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing and forward-thinking accountancy practice in Baildon that is looking to appoint an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join its expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident tax professional who can manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients with minimal supervision. The role offers a mix of personal tax compliance and advisory work, providing exposure to a broad range of tax matters while working closely with clients and senior colleagues.

The Role
As a Personal Tax Senior, you'll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, providing expert support on a range of personal tax matters and ensuring compliance obligations are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
Advising clients on a wide range of personal tax matters.
Handling correspondence and enquiries with HMRC.
Identifying tax planning opportunities and assisting with advisory projects.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Recent experience working within an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation.
The ability to manage a portfolio of clients independently.
Experience handling both personal tax compliance and advisory work.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail.
Relevant ATT, CTA or equivalent tax qualifications would be advantageous, although candidates with the right level of practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
