​Office Admin Assistant

Are you looking for a part time administrative role?

 

I am working with a client who is based in rural Thirsk as they are recruiting for an administrator to join their team. The ideal candidate will be essential in maintaining the efficient operation of our office, assisting with a range of administrative tasks, and working to objectives.

 

The typical hours or work would be usually Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm, however this can be negotiated for the successful candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•         Support Finance Department: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing, expense reporting, and budget tracking.

•         Administrative Support: Perform general office duties including answering phones, managing emails, handling correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

•         Data Management: Update and manage databases, spreadsheets, and reports, providing accurate information for decision-making processes.

•         Scheduling and Coordination: Organise meetings, appointments, and events, ensuring effective communication and coordination among team members.

•         Documentation and Filing: Maintain accurate and organised records, both digital and physical, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

•         Team Collaboration: Work closely with different departments, providing administrative support to enhance team efficiency and productivity.

•         Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.

 

Qualifications:

•         Proven experience in an administrative or office support role.

•         Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.

•         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•         Experience with Xero and Shopify

•         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•         A commitment to the principles of sustainability and social responsibility.

•         High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

Due to the location of the client, your own transport is required.
