Description
We are currently working alongside a successful Offshore and Renewable Engineering contractor based in Stockton-on-Tees who are looking to expand their Service team.
Within this role you will be part of the Field Service team, ideally having sailed on ships previously, carrying out a range of duties including fault finding, servicing and commissioning of all shipboard electrical, automation and navigation systems
Within the role you will be required to carry out the following tasks:
- Procurement of spare parts and service work planning and scheduling
- Planned maintenance, overhaul, upgrades and retrofits
- Commissioning and setting to work of new and upgraded systems
- Modifications to existing installations
- Close collaboration with our electrical and control systems design department to plan, design and deliver both new and retrofit solutions in marine propulsion and auxiliary plant, offshore production systems and offshore construction mission equipment
- Training and mentoring of other personnel
To be considered for the role you will hold some, if not all, of the following skills/qualifications:
- Degree educated in Electrical Engineering
- Experience of sailing on marine vessels
- Proven experience working on a variety of electrical/mechanical ship equipment
