Are you an experienced, qualified Management Accountant looking to take on a key

Finance position within a leading UK based company? If so , read on…

Working within the overall Finance team you’ll work within a small team providing support to the entire business. Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for all financial activities within the business whilst providing timely and accurate financial reporting into the wider team for Plc reporting.

•Supervising the finance department and other employees in the facilitation of day-to-day operations, including tracking financial data, invoicing and reporting.

•Compilation of management accounts from start to finish

•Preparation of the annual financial budget and ongoing forecasts for consolidation

•Submission of extensive weekly / monthly reporting for consolidation

•Responsible for overseeing stock checks ensuring any adjustments required are fully investigated

•VAT, ONS and any other externally required reporting

•Ensure that all the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation

•Work with the company’s auditors to ensure financial monitoring and taxation issues are appropriate and up-to-date

•Liaising with internal audit whilst striving for continuous improvement in processes whilst adherence to Plc policies and procedures is paramount

•Work with the Sales Department and senior management to continually improving operating procedures and management information reporting

•Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial risk

•Create and maintain relationships with service providers including banks and accountants

•Update and implement financial policies and procedures

About you

•A CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW fully qualified accountant

•Have experience in a similar finance role

•Proficiency in Excel and general IT Literacy with an exposure to SAP B1 desirable but not a pre-requisite

•Strong communication skills and the ability to build working relationships at all levels

•A good work ethic with eye for detail. You will have a pro-active, can do, solution driven approach to your work

•A willingness to develop and enrich the experience and knowledge of the other members of the Finance team
