As the Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and play a crucial role in delivering accurate financial accounts, forecasts, budgets, and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Enhance and streamline financial analysis and reporting processes
Manage and oversee key inventory and raw material levels
Prepare financial statements for multiple sites or business units, including management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory accounts.
Provide detailed reports on financial performance, working closely with management to improve cost efficiency and resource utilisation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Implement and maintain effective systems and controls to ensure reliable financial data
Assist finance and business management with various ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed
Requirements:
A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) or someone actively working towards a qualification
Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
Experience using SAGE
