Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide accurate, competitive quotes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing structures, and market trends to ensure competitive quoting
Proactively follow up on all quotations to gather feedback and address customer concerns
Track and chase projects to maintain a high conversion rate from quote to order
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
Ensure accurate processing of orders in line with company policies and procedures
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient order fulfilment
Communicate order status and updates to customers, addressing any issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales orders in the company’s CRM system
Generate sales reports and provide insights to the sales manager on pipeline performance and opportunities
Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, escalating when necessary for resolution
Qualifications:
Strong ability to understand and respond to customer needs
Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain technical information clearly
High accuracy in processing quotes, orders, and maintaining records
Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
