The firm has a strong reputation for providing expert advice and long-term support to a diverse portfolio of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs, larger organisations and individuals.

As part of a growing and supportive insolvency team, you’ll work alongside experienced managers and colleagues to administer a portfolio of predominantly corporate insolvency cases, with the opportunity to take responsibility for your own portfolio of smaller cases.

The Role

  • Assisting with the realisation of assets, including book debts, property and cash at bank.

  • Dealing with creditor claims and queries.

  • Liaising with banks to obtain balances and statements.

  • Assisting with employee matters, including preparing initial correspondence, assessing employee claims and liaising with employees, the Redundancy Payments Service and pension schemes.

  • Preparing and submitting HMRC returns where required.

  • Responding to telephone enquiries from stakeholders.

  • Providing general administrative and case support to the wider insolvency team.

  • Taking responsibility for your own portfolio of smaller cases, with appropriate support and guidance.

About You

  • Ideally, 2–3 years’ experience working within an insolvency team.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A commitment to delivering a first-class service to clients and colleagues.

  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and document management systems.

  • Experience of IPS Cloud would be desirable, but is not essential as training will be provided.

  • An adaptable and proactive approach to your work.

What’s on Offer?

In return, you’ll join a supportive team that places genuine emphasis on developing its people and creating a positive working environment.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive salary.

  • Part-time hours may be available — please indicate your preferred hours when applying.

  • Hybrid, agile and flexible working practices for eligible roles following probation.

  • Workplace pension.

  • 3 x salary life cover.

  • Employee Assistance Programme, including GP24.

  • Reward Gateway, providing access to hundreds of high-street discounts.

  • Access to wellbeing and fitness resources, including videos and podcasts.
