The Role
As a Financial Planning Consultant, you'll provide high-quality financial advice to individuals and business owners, helping clients achieve their personal and financial objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Building long-term relationships with a portfolio of financial planning clients.
Providing holistic financial planning advice tailored to clients' personal and financial goals.
Conducting comprehensive financial reviews and recommending appropriate investment, pension and protection solutions.
Delivering ongoing advice and annual reviews to ensure client objectives remain on track.
Managing your own client portfolio while maintaining exceptional service standards.
Identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking, referrals and professional contacts.
Working closely with colleagues across tax, accounting and business advisory teams to provide joined-up client solutions.
Keeping up to date with industry regulations, legislation and financial planning developments.
Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all work complies with FCA regulations and internal standards.
Achieving individual performance and business development objectives.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
A minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (essential).
Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (desirable).
At least two years' experience in a client-facing financial planning or financial adviser role.
Strong knowledge of pensions, investments, protection and holistic financial planning.
A sound understanding of FCA regulations, including COBS, COCON and relevant compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities to grow client relationships.
A proactive and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
Confidence managing your own workload and working independently.
A full UK driving licence would be advantageous.
