My client is looking for a Financial Controller to join their family run business just a few miles outside of Thirsk. The candidate will be working within a small finance team and reporting directly into a supportive Managing Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Production of monthly Management Accounts and supporting information
Rolling cash flow forecasting, managing payment of Suppliers, debt collection and bank reconciliation
Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
Production of annual budget and quarterly forecasting
Production of Year End Accounts and liaison with external Accountants
Weekly and monthly departmental labour efficiency reports
Preparation of VAT and PAYE returns
Management of company pension schemes
Responsible for 2 direct reports
Preparation and presentation of reports for meetings
Ideally you will have worked in a similar level role for a SME and will be able to commute to Thirsk for this full-time, office based opportunity.
