I am recruiting on behalf of a expanding business based in Stockton-on-Tees who require a Finance Assistant.

The Role
Sales ledger
Credit control
Bank and credit card reconciliation
Cash and payment reconciliation
Management of CIS process - ensure all applicable subcontractors are verified and the correct deductions made
Issuing CIS vouchers to subcontractors
Payroll preparation
Responsible for ensuring monthly deadlines are hit

Credit control experience
Eye for detail & accuracy
Able to identify cost savings
Experience of Sage 50
Basic understanding of VAT, PAYE and CIS
Eager to learn
Strong IT skills, in particular Excel and confidence in working with systems
