Are you an experienced Finance Assistant? Our client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Preferably, you will have a varied experience in an SME environment, and be at a minimum L3 AAT qualified or have the equivalent in experience. This is a role that requires travel between their 2 sites, so you must hold a valid UK driving licence - but don't worry, they have a pool car!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing and posting invoices in an accurate and timely manner
Raising relevant purchase ledger and ad hoc expenses/HMRC payments
Month-end reconciliations of statements
Dealing with customer and supplier queries
Processing daily remittances
Credit control, new customer set-up, undertaking credit checks and changes to credit terms
Preparing payroll and setting up wage payments for direct staff
HR Administration, holiday and sickness recording, HR support
Ledger postings, including journals
Handling petty cash
Supporting the annual audit
Any additional adhoc duties as required by the business
Working hours condensed to Monday - Thursday.
