Finance Administrator, Tockwith | £24,500 -£27,500| Full-time (35 hours per week)
An established business based in Tockwith is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its friendly and experienced finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, as full training will be provided. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and providing day-to-day financial administration support.
Key Responsibilities
Processing and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
Scanning and matching delivery notes to invoices
Checking, processing, and batch-posting invoices
Handling invoice queries via email and liaising with suppliers
Barcoding invoices and uploading documents to Sage
Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliations
Updating cashbooks and recording payments in Sage
Supporting freelancer and supplier payment runs
Updating cashflow forecasts (including weekly freelancer cashflows)
Assisting with period-end procedures
Completing supplier statement reconciliations
Skills & Experience
Previous finance administration experience beneficial but not essential
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work under pressure
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above
Salary & Benefits
£27,500 per annum
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
9:00am - 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break
