Finance Administrator, Tockwith | £24,500 -£27,500| Full-time (35 hours per week)

An established business based in Tockwith is looking to recruit a Finance Administrator to join its friendly and experienced finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, as full training will be provided. The role focuses on purchase ledger processing and providing day-to-day financial administration support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records

  • Scanning and matching delivery notes to invoices

  • Checking, processing, and batch-posting invoices

  • Handling invoice queries via email and liaising with suppliers

  • Barcoding invoices and uploading documents to Sage

  • Assisting with cash management and bank reconciliations

  • Updating cashbooks and recording payments in Sage

  • Supporting freelancer and supplier payment runs

  • Updating cashflow forecasts (including weekly freelancer cashflows)

  • Assisting with period-end procedures

  • Completing supplier statement reconciliations

Skills & Experience

  • Previous finance administration experience beneficial but not essential

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work under pressure

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above

Salary & Benefits

  • £27,500 per annum

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

  • 9:00am - 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break

  • Training and development within an established finance team
