Are you an experienced Credit Controller, or looking to get into a career Credit Control?
My Client, a prestigious York based wholesaler, are looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly and supportive team.
Duties include:
• Chasing debt by telephone and email and reducing debtor days.
• Processing and generating reminder letters and monthly statements.
• Liaising with the sales and accounts receivable teams to resolve outstanding queries.
• Ensuring that all major accounts work to agreed order to cash cycle.
• Daily and month end reporting and account reconciliations.
• Investigating and resolving queries relating to non-payment of invoices.
Requirements of the role:
• You will have some previous experience of working in a finance department with exposure to credit control.
• This position would suit an individual who is driven by results.
• You will have good Excel skills, a polite but tenacious telephone manner and good systems knowledge.
Previous Credit Control/Collections experience is preferred but by no means essential; they are willing to consider candidates who have had exposure within a finance team and who have a desire to start a career within credit control, and are happy to offer full training and support.
