Bookkeeper
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established and growing business based in Richmond. This role would suit a highly organised individual who enjoys working within a varied finance position and taking ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider business with financial administration and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities
Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
Carrying out bank reconciliations
Credit control and supplier payment management
Preparing and submitting VAT returns
Assisting with month-end procedures
Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
Supporting payroll administration where required
Liaising with external accountants and stakeholders
General finance and administrative duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Previous bookkeeping experience is essential
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
AAT qualification or studies would be advantageous
