Audit & Accounts Senior
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary:£25,000–£39,000 per annum, depending on experience
An established and growing accountancy practice is looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join its team, with excellent opportunities for career progression into a management position.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, including:
Leading statutory audit assignments
Preparing year-end statutory accounts, including group accounts
Drafting corporation tax computations
Supervising and supporting junior team members and trainees
Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT and client accounting software
Supporting ad hoc work including tax planning, valuations and due diligence
About You
At least
2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
Strong experience in accounts preparation is essential
Audit experience is desirable but not essential
AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified/part-qualified is preferred
Experience with
Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident working independently and supervising junior colleagues
