A well-established healthcare organisation delivering community-based clinical services across North Yorkshire is seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative Assistant to join its Clinical Services team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role offering the opportunity to support a growing service and work closely with operational, governance, and project support colleagues. The successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services while contributing to continuous improvements and service development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Clinical Services team
Support meetings through minute-taking, action tracking, and follow-up coordination
Maintain professional and confidential communication with colleagues, patients, and external stakeholders
Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
Assist with ordering consumables and researching equipment requirements
Support governance and compliance activities, including audits and mandatory training monitoring
Help coordinate information from multiple service locations
Contribute to service improvement initiatives and evolving operational processes
Travel occasionally across the local service area to support operational delivery

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to prioritise workloads effectively in a busy environment
Flexible and willing to support a variety of administrative functions
Professional and confident handling confidential information
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team
Skills & Experience
Previous administration experience within a busy office or healthcare environment
Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Full UK driving licence and access to transport for occasional travel between sites
Experience or confidence using Canva
