We are recruiting for a successful business located in Catterick who are looking to add an Accounts Clerk to their busy team on a full-time, permanent basis.
As the successful applicant you will ideally have recent experience working within an Accounting/Bookkeeping role with a relevant accounting qualification – AAT Level 3, CIMA or ACCA. You must also be highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload due to the fast-paced and busy nature of this role. It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to communicate with people at all levels including customers and colleagues.
- Management of own portfolio of clients accounts
- Input of Sales and Purchase Ledgers
- Producing and submitting VAT returns
- Running payroll
- Assist Team Leaders with credit control and monthly management reporting
Experience dealing with Agricultural and/or Estate accounts would be highly advantageous but is not essential to be considered for this opportunity.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5:30 PM with 1 hour for lunch
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
Pension: Auto-enrolment 5% employee and 3% employer contribution
