We are currently recruiting for a well-established and friendly firm of Accountants located in Stanley, County Durham who is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their team on a full or part-time, permanent basis.
As the successful candidate you will have recent Accounts experience gained working within Practice, you must also have excellent time management and organisational skills.
Daily duties will include the following:
- Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- General bookkeeping duties
- Assisting with more junior members of staff/ new members of staff as and when required
- Visiting clients to discuss requirements (when Covid restrictions have been lifted)
Knowledge of the following software skills would be highly advantageous: Microsoft Office, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and/or VT
