Our client, a UK leading business in Guisborough is looking to recruit an experienced Full time or Part Time Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts Lead in providing an effective accounts processing service.
This role will play a pivotal part in the smooth running of their finance function, covering many different aspects of the accounts function including Purchase Ledger, Credit Control, Payroll and reconciliations.
As the Accounts Assistant your duties will include:
Processing purchase invoices onto Sage 50
Liaising with supplier to resolve queries via telephone and email
Supplier statement reconciliations
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Ensuring invoices are authorised by the relevant person
Scanning and filing invoice
Reconciling Petty Cash
Act as first point of contact in the office for all incoming calls and visitors
Accounts experience in Payroll and Purchase Ledger
A working knowledge of Sage
Excellent communication skills
A can do attitude.
In return you will be offered:
Salary between £23k-25k depending upon experience
22 days holidays plus bank holidays
Part time hours worked to be agreed by both parties
Full time 40 per week Mon -Fri-30min for lunch (Flexible with start & finish times -eg. 9.00am to 5.30, 8.30am to 5.00pmetc.)
Holidays 25 days plus statutory days
