An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a successful haulage company to work within their Middlesbrough office as an Accounts Assistant.
Salary is upto £35,000 (depending on experience) and the successful candidate will gain access to a varied accounts opportunity, alongside 25 days holiday + BH and further additional benefits.
Working with a fun and friendly, long standing finance team, the Accounts Assistant will assist and work directly with the Accounts Manager and support the wider team.
You will primarily be responsible for supporting with month end transactional finance and all round finance duties including Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger.
Duties include:
Sales ledger - invoicing and credit control
Purchase ledger - posting of invoices and reconciling accounts
Payroll - to process and submit to hmrc all documents and payments needed to deadline
Cashier - bank reconciliations
Other general duties as and when required
Provide cover for the Accounts Manager
We are looking for:
Proficient in Excel and Sage
Experience in the above duties
Literate and Numerate
Good Time Management
Good Verbal Communication
Able to build relationships with customers and suppliers
The position is office based and the working hours are 8am-4pm Mon- Friday with 1 hour lunch (35 hours per week).
To be successful in this Accounts Assistant role you will ideally have experience in an all rounded Accounts Assistant position and looking to work in a fast paced team environment.
