My client, based near Saltburn-by-the-Sea is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. They are ideally looking for someone with an all round accountancy knowledge and who can be very hands on with strong analytical skills.
Duties to include:
- Day to day accounting, sales ledger
- Control Accounting
- Credit control
- PAYE, Payroll weekly and at year end (Including pensions submissions)
- Preparation of BACs runs
- Accruals / Prepayments
- Preparation of Agent Commissions
- Assist Finance Manager in preparation of Month End Accounts
What we would like from you:
- Working to AAT, or AAT achieved status
- Advanced EXCEL skills
- Logical thinker, problem solver and good communicator.
- Use of Opera Pegasus 3 is an advantage.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange would be beneficial
