We are recruiting for a leading business who have been established for over 40 years in Thirsk who due to on-going expansion is looking for a Finance Administrator to support their Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a proven track record of delivering a 1st class service, be highly organised and possess excellent organisational skills. It is also essential that you are a team player with an excellent telephone manner and a strong attention to detail.

Supporting the Finance Manager, your daily responsibilities will include the following:

  • Processing and posting invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Raising relevant purchase ledger payments
  • Month end reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries and remittances
  • Payment run
  • Ledger postings including journals
  • General administrative duties including filing and HR support

Knowledge of the following software systems would be highly advantageous; Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office including Excel.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday: 9am – 2:30pm
