We are working closely with a Hawes-based business to recruit an Accountant to their team. You will play a pivotal part in the team and will be part of a truly valued and collaborative business.
The role will include:
Management of stock controls and reconciliations
Oversight of retail sales in connection with other departments
Month-end reporting and reconciliations
Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts
Support of budget preparation and forecast
Management of contracts and leases
Management of a small, developing team - target setting and performance review
Interviewing and inducting new members of the finance team
Course mentor for AAT Apprentice/s
Requirements/Experience:
Part or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or with equivalent experience
Confident with PC tools, especially advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Curious, proactive, and self-motivated: you are at your best in fast-paced environments
Meet deadlines and manage your workload effectively
A good communicator, both in writing and in person
Comfortable working independently and staying motivated without close supervision
A team player who’s happy to collaborate and work towards shared goals
