Head of Finance

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work as an interim Head of Finance for a leading business based in Billingham. This assignment will be on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months.

Working day to day with the Finance Director and Chief Executive Office, the Head of Finance will be responsible for;

• Production of group Management Accounts and Board Report
• Cash and cashflow management
• Balance Sheet Postings and Reconciliations
• Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
• Processing the weekly payment run
• Processing Payrolls and Payroll submissions
• Quarterly VAT Reconciliations and Returns
• Processing Year End
• Managing the Year End Audit, dealing with all Audit queries
• Managing a small Finance Team, including covering their main duties when annual leave arises

Requirements;

• Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Previous experience of Sage
