Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen to work as an interim Head of Finance for a leading business based in Billingham. This assignment will be on a fixed term contract basis for 6 months.
Working day to day with the Finance Director and Chief Executive Office, the Head of Finance will be responsible for;
- Production of group Management Accounts and Board Report
- Cash and cashflow management
- Balance Sheet Postings and Reconciliations
- Journals, Accruals, Prepayments
- Processing the weekly payment run
- Processing Payrolls and Payroll submissions
- Quarterly VAT Reconciliations and Returns
- Processing Year End
- Managing the Year End Audit, dealing with all Audit queries
- Managing a small Finance Team, including covering their main duties when annual leave arises
Requirements;
- Qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience of Sage
