Design & Project Engineer

We are currently working alongside an established Automation specialist company who are looking to add a Projects & Design Engineer to their Design team.

As a successful candidate you will be required to carry out the following duties:

• Work closely with the sales team to generate and complete designs from basic concept sketches.
• Able to create 3D models within Inventor/Solidworks and work them through the company Design Procedure’s
• Internal design review’s, customer approval drawing check off, andover to manufacturing
• Create Detail and GA drawings which will be used within the manufacture environment
• Support needs of shop floor staff during the Manufacture/Assembly/Commission of Machine

To be considered for the role you should hold some, if not all, of the following skills/experiences:

• Strong Inventor and/or SolidWorks experience essential
• Qualified to BTEC ONC/HNC or equivalent preferred
• Experience of special purpose equipment design and manufacture desirable
• Project Management experience desirable
• Machining experience would be an advantage
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing to travel, primarily within the UK
