A great opportunity has arisen to join a successful business based in Billingham as an Office Administrator. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, the Office Administrator will be responsible for the conducting day to day General Admin tasks.

My client is looking for someone to start immediately or available at short notice.

Duties include:

  • Filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails and preparing documents
  • Liaising with client regarding for on-site projects
  • Purchasing Ordering and Invoicing
  • Provide administrative support for operations team
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Setting up of external Contractor induction
  • Reception and helpdesk cover
  • Implementing new systems and processing
  • Data transfer, create job sheets for other team members
  • Data Input
  • Maintain data for audit

Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of computers, software, databases, and word processing programs is essential
  • Operate general office equipment, such as a copy machine, scanners and Franking machine
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
  • Organized and flexible
  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
  • Maintains staff confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of email, scheduling, spreadsheets and presentation
  • Work in an organised manner, problem solving within the scope of the position
