I am working with a client who is based in Newton Aycliffe as they are looking to recruit a Trainee/Graduate Purchasing Administrator.


As the successful candidate will be solely responsible with the purchasing of all materials that comes into the business, so a keen eye for detail is essential. You will be well organised as this is a fast based role in a competitive industry.



  • Buy materials & supplies
  • Liaising with co-workers and suppliers
  • Comparing prices and collating quotes
  • Managing stock levels
  • Scheduling & timing delivery of materials
  • Responsible for quality management of materials
  • Making and answering telephones in an efficient and effective manner
  • Entering information onto the computer
  • Keeping up to date accurate records
  • Other general office duties
