We have partnered with a business in Northallerton who are looking to appoint a part-time Office Manager to work in a standalone administrative position, reporting into the Directors. The successful candidate will be joining a small but dedicated team dealing with high quality products in a niche market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales Administration- follow up sales enquiries from telephone and email by contacting customers and generating relevant quotes
  • Liaise with sales agents
  • Acquire technical knowledge over time regarding products and specifications - provide advice/excellent customer service relating to product queries
  • Day to day bookkeeping and up-keep of Sage including inputting sales orders and processing purchase invoices
  • Produce month end reports and VAT return
  • Organise purchase of stock and manage the supply line in conjunction with the Director
  • Maintain good relationship with suppliers
  • Basic inventory/stock control
  • Manage customer credit limits
  • Open new customer accounts
  • Credit control

The successful candidate will ideally have Sage experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Working hours: 20 per week, ideally over 4 days.

Holidays: 25 days + bh, pro rata
